Steps to Becoming an Assistant Professor

Assistant Professors are in charge of providing students with further teaching and guidance in specific subjects at colleges, universities, and other higher education institutions.

The candidate should have a postgraduate degree with not less than 55% marks

Step No 1:

The candidate should, for instance, have passed the NET/JRF Exam or the CSIR/UGC

Step No 2:

The candidate should have a Ph.D degree from a recognised institution

Step No 3:

The candidate must have a minimum 5 Research Papers Published in UGC-Care/Peer Review Journal

Step No 4:

The candidate must be an expert in any field of study or research.

Step No 5:

The applicant must be able to show that they are knowledgeable about at least one paper in their PG subject

Step No 6:

The applicant must be fluent in the common Hindi-English tongue.
