Competitive Test For Joining Research

Any of the following competitive exams must have been passed in order to conduct research in universities and colleges

National Eligibility Test (NET) 

Once or twice a year, the NTA conducte NET exam to choose candidate  for research and teaching across the nation.

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE)

Once a year, the GATE Committee offers a national exam, and the results are used for the next three years to fix admission to master's and PhD programmes

State Level Eligibility Test (SET)

Many states Conductes  SET test in many subjcets entry of candate in tecahing and research.

Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) NET

NTA conducted CSIR NET twice a year to approve candidates for lecturer positions or research fellowships in a variety of science subjects

DBT Biotechnology Eligibility Test (BET)

NTA conducted eaxm for Indian citizens may apply for a Research Fellowship in Biotechnology under the Ministry of Science and Technology

PhD Entrance Test (PET)

Many Universties offers a national exam once or twice a year to individuals seeking admission to research programmes.
